Caitlyn Jenner Reveals She and Ex-Wife Kris Jenner Don’t Speak Anymore

In a recent revelation, Caitlyn Jenner, the former Olympian and reality TV star, opened up about the current state of her relationship with her ex-wife, Kris Jenner. After nearly eight years since their divorce was finalized in 2015, Caitlyn candidly shared that she and Kris are no longer in communication and have grown distant.

During an interview on the October 4th episode of ITV’s This Morning, Caitlyn Jenner, 73, admitted, “Kris, I really never talk to anymore. It’s sad. If there’s any communication, Sophia Hutchins, she’s my manager, she runs the show. So, she talks to them.” This statement revealed the stark change in their once-closely-knit relationship.

Caitlyn and Kris Jenner’s union, which began in April 1991, blended two families into one. Kris had children Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob from her previous marriage to Robert Kardashian Sr., while Caitlyn was a father to Burt, Cassandra, Brandon, and Brody from prior relationships. Together, they added two more children to their family, Kendall and Kylie.

However, despite the initial harmony and closeness within the Kardashian-Jenner family, Caitlyn acknowledged that the dynamics have shifted, especially on the Kardashian side of the family. She explained, “When you have as many kids as I have, you’re closer to some than you are to others. And it’s kind of that way through there, through that side of the family.”

Caitlyn clarified that she does see some members of the Kardashian family from time to time but has a notably stronger bond with her children from her previous marriage, Brandon, Brody, Burt, and Casey. Her connection with Kris, on the other hand, has waned over time.

“I’m much closer to the Jenner side, you know, with Brandon and Brody and my son Burt, my daughter Casey,” Caitlyn remarked, underscoring the divergence in her relationships with the two sides of her extended family. She went on to say, “But Kris, I really don’t have any more contact with her. It’s kind of sad because we went through a lot, but there’s just a lot there.”

Despite the evolving dynamics in her relationship with Kris, Caitlyn believes it’s time to “move on” from the past and embrace the changes in her life and family relationships.

However, Caitlyn Jenner took to social media hours after the interview to clarify her statements and dispel any misconceptions. She stated on X, formerly known as Twitter, on October 4th, “Don’t let the clickbait or tabloid headlines fool you.” Caitlyn referred to an upcoming special, possibly indicating that her comments may have been taken out of context, and added, “I did ‘House of Kardashian’ to defend my family and I speak extremely highly of my kids and Kris—the mastermind behind it all—who I spent 22 beautiful years with.”

Caitlyn’s clarification underscores her continued respect and appreciation for her family, particularly Kris, and her desire to maintain a positive image and relationship with them, despite any recent changes. The evolution of the Kardashian-Jenner family dynamics remains a topic of interest for fans and followers of their journey.
